Additional Costs

***My price covers the car, the driver(that’s me !) my local knowledge, and once we are outside the Angkor Area Temples, I can accompany you everywhere, and explain about attractions, local customs & oddities.

The price does not include either the cost of a professional Angkor Temple Guide nor the Angkor Area Temple’s pass. Angkor Area Temple guides are licensed professionals and I am happy to arrange one for you from  $USD30  per day to $45 for longer trips.

Angkor Area temple passes are on sale from 05:00  to 17:30 each day, and cannot be purchased in advance or by a 3rd party(as they will take your photograph at the time of purchase).

BUT there is an interesting exception to this rule and if you buy the pass after 17:00 and before closing at 17:30 the pass is good for the remainder of the day, as well as the next (or more if its a 3 day or 7 day pass). Queues begin to form at the ticket offices around 16:30 each day and the ticket offices often re-open before 5 pm, I guess so the staff can leave on time. 🙂
