Preah Vihear
Exquisite Preah Vihear area is a long drive from most places and is best reached as part of a full-day tour from Siem Reap. You you will not only see the ” Paradise temple ” as Preah Vihear is known, but drop by a country market and visit the tomb of the infamous Pol Pot. This private and customisable tour begins as early in the morning as you like but best we leave you hotel by 7:00am.

At 240km Preah Vihear is very far from the crowds of Angkor Wat, so you can enjoy the calm of the countryside and everyday rural Cambodian life. For example we can stop at Anlong Veng market, and/or the Pol Pot cemetery. At Preah Viher we need to climb to the top by designated pickup truck where you have a couple of hours to take in the scenic view and majesty of the temple.
You can enjoy the local lunch either on the mountain top or below near the car park.
After you journey we can take you back to your hotel or take you to either the Thai or Laos border’s so you can continue your multi indo-china land tour.

Kompong Kleang

Starting ideally at 7:30am from your Hotel, we get a head start on the crowds so we can arrive 120km away at Koh Ker before the hottest time of the day. Take your time and feel at home amongst the ruins without a swarm of tourists negating the experience. If you feel up to it, climb to the top of the Pyramid temple and survey the jungle surrounded rice fields, or just wonder around the base. Then pop over to Prasad Thneng, and/or Prasad Leung to see some of the best endowed Shiva Linga in Cambodia.
Next stop is Prasad Bram where the Strangler Figs are reclaiming the temples for the Jungle, being a lot quieter than Angkor Area you can hear birds singing in the Jungle. Grab some local lunch when the sun is high in the sky and then we make our way to the Jungle Temple of Beng Mealea. End your day around 6:30pm back at your hotel or a Siem Reap restaurant.
